I've always thought of myself as a reader. I love to get lost in a book whether I'm on vacation, waiting for a movie to start, or just need a moment to escape.

However, a strange situation during a vacation in Dominican Republic and doubling over with laughter while reading Jennifer Weiner's first book, Good In Bed, are a few factors that ignited my writer's spark.
